Not too much, I try to limit carbs to one meal a day. For instance a smoothie in the morning, a salad for lunch, and a pasta dish for dinner.

  2. Stevia in the Raw is supposed to be all natural, and if you are diabetic I would say it is a good substitute to have in the house. However, I am a firm believer that the “I can have as many as I like” mentality is a big reason for the weight issues we are having.

When you have something sweet you will crave more sweets and more carbs, that is a fact. So I find if I am going to have something with sugar in it and use the real stuff and hold myself accountable for the calories I consumed, I don’t go back for that second, third and forth cookie like I would have if I had substituted with fake sugar.

I truly recommend you skip Stevia, unless you are diabetic, instead hold yourself accountable for your calories, that is far more important than how many grams of sugar is in something.

Here are some good sugar substitutes:
Apple sauce, maple syrup, honey, agave, organic baby food (like pear and peach), vanilla extract and mashed fruits (like bananas and strawberries).

Follow me on Facebook, I don’t often answer questions here… you got lucky ?
